Cráneo

Cráneo is a Spanish rapper and audiovisual artist who emerged from the Fanso collective, a group of rappers and producers credited with bringing lo-fi aesthetics into the Spanish rap scene during the mid-2010s. Before rap, he was already active as a photographer and videographer, running his own YouTube channel, which shaped the strong visual identity that still defines his releases today. His early work with the Slow Life crew led to his debut EP «HandMade», produced with beats indebted to the boom-bap sound of the nineties.

His long-running partnership with producer and DJ Sr. Guayaba, which began around the making of «HandMade», has been central to his sound ever since, giving his tracks a hazy, textured, sample-driven quality distinct from the more polished trap productions of his peers. Together with Sr. Guayaba, Lasser, Made in M and Juan RIOS he helped found Fanso and the «Acid House» project, an early and influential entry point for lo-fi hip-hop in Spain.

Cráneo has continued to release music independently through labels tied to his own circle, including Guayaba Records, and has toured alongside artists such as Bejo and Nathy Peluso, extending his reach into Latin America. Songs like «Cristal», «Panteras» and «Marte» reflect his laid-back, introspective delivery over dusty, atmospheric beats, cementing his place as one of the defining voices of the Spanish lo-fi rap wave.
