Cousin Stizz is an American rapper from Boston, Massachusetts, who emerged as one of the city’s most prominent hip-hop voices in the mid-2010s. His breakout project, the 2015 mixtape «Suffolk County», introduced his laid-back, melodic delivery over hazy, atmospheric production, with standout tracks like «Shoutout», «No Bells» and «Fresh Prince» drawing wide online attention, including a notable co-sign from Drake.

His name traces back to childhood, when a friend nicknamed him Stizz for acting like everyone’s cousin around the neighborhood. That easygoing, community-rooted persona carried through his music even as his sound evolved. On his 2016 follow-up mixtape, «MONDA», dedicated to a late friend, he moved away from trap-leaning beats toward more soulful, introspective production, reflecting on mortality and ambition on tracks such as «Wanted to Live» and «Gain Green».
