About the artist
Co'Sang were an Italian rap duo from the Marianella district in the northern outskirts of Naples, formed by rappers Ntò and Luchè, the latter also serving as producer. They emerged in the late 1990s from Naples' underground scene, initially using the stage names Tony Molla and Luca Malphi and contributing to a compilation by the local collective Clan Vesuvio before stabilizing as a duo.
Co'Sang built their reputation on gritty, street-level storytelling delivered largely in Neapolitan dialect, chronicling life in the city's periphery with a raw, unpolished aesthetic that set them apart from more mainstream Italian rap. Their debut album, «Chi More Pe' Mme», released in 2005, and its follow-up «Vita Bona» in 2009, both produced mainly by Luchè, are considered landmark releases in Italian street rap and helped cement Naples as a distinct hub within the national scene.
The group split in 2012 after fifteen years together, with both members continuing successful solo careers, Luchè in particular becoming one of Italy's most prominent rap artists. In 2024 Co'Sang reunited for sold-out shows in Naples' Piazza del Plebiscito, drawing enormous crowds and underlining their lasting influence on the genre.
