Collie Buddz

Collie Buddz, born Colin Harper, is a reggae artist born in New Orleans, Louisiana, and raised in Bermuda, a background that shaped a sound blending Caribbean reggae and dancehall with pop and hip-hop sensibilities aimed at wide crossover appeal. He studied audio engineering at Full Sail University in Orlando, Florida, giving him hands-on production skills that inform the polish of his recordings.

He broke through with the single «Come Around», a laid-back, hook-driven reggae-pop track that became a global radio hit and remains his signature song, showcasing his smooth, melodic vocal delivery over modern dancehall-influenced production. The track helped bring reggae-pop crossover sounds to mainstream pop and hip-hop radio in the late 2000s.

Since then he has continued releasing albums and singles that move fluidly between roots reggae, dancehall, pop and R&B textures, such as «Blind to You Haterz» and «Love & Reggae», maintaining a steady presence in reggae and Caribbean-influenced pop music while collaborating across genres and touring internationally.
