clipping. is an experimental hip hop group from Los Angeles formed by rapper Daveed Diggs and producers William Hutson and Jonathan Snipes. The trio built a reputation for uncompromising, avant-garde production that draws heavily on noise music, industrial textures and abrasive sound design, paired with Diggs's technically dense, rapid-fire delivery, setting them apart from nearly all other rap acts. Diggs later achieved wider mainstream recognition as an actor and Tony Award-winning performer, most notably in the original Broadway cast of Hamilton, which brought additional visibility to the group.

Their catalogue spans genre-defying territory, from the horrorcore-inflected Splendor & Misery, a concept album about a runaway slave on an interstellar cargo ship, to There Existed an Addiction to Blood and Visions of Bodies Being Burned, which lean into horror aesthetics and were released around Halloween. Tracks like «Story 2», «Work Work» and «Blood of the Fang» showcase their range, from narrative-driven storytelling to blunt sonic aggression.
