Chris Young

Chris Young, born Christopher Alan Young on June 12, 1985, is an American country singer-songwriter who rose to fame after winning the fourth season of the television talent competition Nashville Star in 2006. The win led to a recording contract with RCA Records Nashville and the release of his self-titled debut album that same year, launching a career built on a rich baritone voice and a knack for both traditional country ballads and radio-friendly uptempo material.

Young's breakthrough came with his second album, The Man I Want to Be, which produced three consecutive number-one hits including the title track and Gettin' You Home. He continued this streak with Neon, featuring chart-toppers Tomorrow and You, and later with A.M. and I'm Comin' Over, each yielding multiple hit singles and reinforcing his reputation as one of country music's most consistent hitmakers through the 2010s.
