chillwagon

Chillwagon is a Polish hip-hop collective associated with the Kielce-based label NewBadLabel, founded and led by rapper Borixon, who previously worked as hypeman for fellow Kielce rapper Liroy and was part of groups such as GibGibon Skład, Wzgórze Ya-Pa 3 and Gang Albanii. Borixon conceived Chillwagon as a launchpad for young Polish artists, and the crew's lineup has changed with each yearly season.

The first season, running 2018-2019, brought together artists including ZetHa, ReTo, Kizo, Żabson, Qry, olszakumpel, KOOZA, SecretRank and Przemek.pro, several of whom went on to become significant names in Polish rap and R&B on their own. Each season traditionally concludes with a «drop», a compilation album summing up the crew's year, pressed in limited physical runs and sold primarily through Chillwagon's own online store.

To keep the collective evolving, Borixon runs an annual competition called chillwagonchallenge, aimed at discovering and promoting new talent, with the winner joining the roster. This rotating, trampoline-like structure has made Chillwagon one of the more distinctive incubators in the Polish urban music scene, blending rap, pop, R&B and electronic influences across its various members and eras.
