About the artist
Charlie Heat (born Ernest Eugene Brown III) is a Chicago-born record producer best known for his long-running work within Kanye West's orbit and his signing to G.O.O.D. Music / Very GOOD Beats. He was brought into West's camp after being introduced through Virgil Abloh, quickly contributing to sessions that shaped several major projects.
His production credits include work on Kanye West's «All Day» and «U Mad» (the latter with Vic Mensa), as well as a credit on «Facts (Charlie Heat Version)» from «The Life of Pablo». Beyond the GOOD Music camp, he has produced for artists including Pusha T, Jeremih, Kehlani, Denzel Curry and Christina Aguilera, showing range across mainstream rap, R&B and pop production. He also released his own remix and mixtape projects, including «TILL JUNE», «TILL AUGUST» and «FLAME», and the collaborative effort «No Rain No Flowers» with Ant Beale.
Within hip-hop and R&B production, Charlie Heat is known less as a public-facing artist than as an in-demand studio collaborator, valued for adaptable, hard-hitting production that fits comfortably in both rap and pop contexts.
