Central Cee

Central Cee, born Akhil Neil Caesar-Su, is a rapper and fashion designer from Shepherds Bush, West London, who has become one of the most prominent figures in contemporary UK rap. He began freestyling as young as 14 and initially worked within a melodic, autotune-driven trapwave style, evident on his 2017 EP «17» and early freestyles such as «Next Up?».

His sound matured around 2020 with singles «Day in the Life» and «Molly», followed by his breakout hit «Loading», which entered the UK Top 20 and established his glide over 808 basslines and stuttering hi-hats paired with sharp, street-level storytelling. His 2021 debut mixtape «Wild West» — featuring «Commitment Issues» among other tracks — was a critical and commercial success, reaching Number 2 on the UK Album Charts.

Central Cee has since become known for blending drill, rap, pop and R&B influences, expanding his reach through singles like «Doja», «BAND4BAND», «LET GO» and «Obsessed With You», and collaborations that bridge UK rap with mainstream pop audiences. Alongside music, he has built a fashion-forward public persona, cementing his status as a defining voice of the modern UK rap scene.
