CBW

CBW (Cold Boy Winter) is a Polish hip hop collective and project initiated by GOMBAO 33, with rapper and producer Mata as one of its central figures, aimed at supporting and showcasing underground artists from the Polish scene. The project positions itself between two worlds: the polished, high-production sensibility associated with mainstream Polish rap and the rougher energy and experimentation of the underground, blending both into releases meant to feel current without losing an outsider edge.

Because Mata is one of the most prominent names in contemporary Polish rap, his involvement gave CBW visibility beyond a typical underground crew, functioning partly as a platform to lift lesser-known collaborators alongside more established names. Tracks and drops connected to CBW range across trap, drill and electronic-leaning production, reflecting the collective's stated aim of mixing mainstream polish with underground attitude rather than sticking to one narrow sound.
