Casseurs Flowters

Casseurs Flowters is a French rap duo from Caen composed of OrelSan and Gringe. The pair's roots go back to 2004, with their free mixtape Fantasy Mixtape, entirely produced by Skread, released under this name. After years of pursuing separate solo careers, they reunited in November 2013 for their first full album, Orelsan et Gringe sont les Casseurs Flowters, which went on to be certified platinum in France with over 100,000 sales.

Two years later, in December 2015, the duo released Comment c'est loin (BO), the soundtrack to the film of the same name, which they also starred in and largely wrote. That project was certified platinum in January 2017. The Casseurs Flowters' work is marked by narrative, conversational rap built around everyday, often mundane and self-deprecating storytelling, frequently structured around specific times of day, as reflected in track titles like «06h16 - Des histoires à raconter» and «18h30 - Bloqué».

Beyond the Casseurs Flowters name, OrelSan and Gringe have continued to collaborate on other tracks over the years, including «Saint-Valentin» and «Entre bien et mal», reflecting a creative partnership that predates and outlasts the group's official releases.
