Capo Plaza

Capo Plaza, born Luca D'Orso in Salerno, is an Italian rapper who began writing at thirteen and posted his first track online two years later. After a run of independent singles and freestyles, including a collaboration with Sfera Ebbasta, he built a steady partnership with fellow Salerno rapper Peppe Soks, and the two caught the attention of the Rome-based label Quadraro Basement, releasing the street album «Sulamente Nuje» together in 2016.

His solo breakthrough came with the single «Nisida» later that year, which led him to sign with the newly formed label Sto Records. In 2017 he cemented his national profile through the «Allenamento» single series and the track «Giovane Fuoriclasse», paving the way for his 2018 debut album «20». His 2021 follow-up, «PLAZA», expanded his reach further with several international collaborations.

Capo Plaza is regarded as one of the defining voices of Italy's trap generation, known for a sharp, melodic flow layered over dark, minimal beats, and for helping push Italian trap from an underground scene into the mainstream of the country's pop charts.
