Brooks & Dunn

Brooks & Dunn is an American country duo formed in Nashville in 1990, pairing Louisiana-born singer-songwriter Kix Brooks with Texas-born vocalist Ronnie Dunn. They quickly became one of the defining acts of the 1990s neotraditional country-pop boom, mixing honky-tonk shuffles, line-dance anthems, and heartfelt ballads.

Their breakout single «Boot Scootin' Boogie» helped ignite the line-dancing craze of the era, while songs like «Neon Moon», «My Maria», and «Red Dirt Road» showed a more introspective, rock-and-soul-inflected side of their songwriting. Dunn's powerful lead vocals paired with Brooks's harmonies and stage presence gave the duo a dynamic that translated into one of the most successful touring partnerships in country music history.
