Brav

Brav is a French rapper from Le Havre, Normandy, part of a musical family — brother of beatmakers Proof and Général. He first gained recognition through the duo Bouchées Doubles alongside rapper Tiers Monde, before launching a solo career marked by socially conscious lyrics that confront poverty, class inequality and the struggles of the working class in France.

His solo catalogue includes «Sous France» (2015) and «Error 404» (2016), both released on Din Records, followed later by «Nous sommes», his first project outside that label. Tracks such as «Post Scriptum», «Prolétariat», «Revolving» and «Tyler Durden» showcase a style that blends hard-hitting rap with pop and rock textures, giving his sound a broader sonic palette than typical boom-bap.

Beyond music, Brav runs his own graphic design studio, Horizon Design France, founded in 2007, reflecting a do-it-yourself ethos that runs through his career. His work occupies a distinct niche in French rap: politically engaged, regionally rooted in Le Havre, and delivered with a sharp critical edge toward social injustice.
