Boyinaband is the stage name of Dave Brown, a British rapper, producer and YouTube personality known for combining hip-hop with electronic and rock production. He built his following through YouTube collaborations, working with fellow creators such as Dan Bull, PewDiePie, TheOdd1sOut, iDubbz, Roomie and Andrew Huang, blending internet culture with sharp lyricism and self-produced beats.

He first gained wider recognition as a member of the group You And What Army before departing in 2014 to focus on his solo career. His breakout moment came with «Don’t Stay in School» in 2015, a deliberately provocative track criticizing aspects of the education system, which sparked widespread debate and pushed his channel into the spotlight.

Since then, Boyinaband has released a string of genre-blending tracks such as «Empty», «Town of Salem», «Murder» and «Spectrum», often addressing mental health, internet culture and social commentary through dense wordplay. His rap battle videos, including the «Battlefield vs Call of Duty Rap Battle», further cemented his reputation as one of YouTube’s most technically skilled rapper-producers.
