Bosshafte Beats

Bosshafte Beats is a German production duo made up of Hookbeats and Phil Fanatic, best known for shaping the sound of rapper Kollegah's records. Their beats are built around a hard, cinematic, orchestral-trap style — heavy basslines, dramatic strings and choir samples, punchy drum programming — that helped define much of German gangsta rap in the 2010s.

Beyond studio work, Bosshafte Beats became widely known through comedic parody tracks such as «Der Rettungsschwimmer», «Der Maurermeister», «Der Lehrer» and «Der Lastwagenfahrer», applying trap-rap aesthetics to everyday German professions and turning the format into novelty entertainment. This playful side sits alongside their more serious production credits and made them recognizable well beyond the core rap fanbase.

In 2015 they released their own album, High Class, showcasing their production identity outside of working for other artists. They also run an active YouTube channel where they regularly upload new instrumentals, making their beats directly accessible to other artists and aspiring producers.
