Bonez MC

Bonez MC, born John Lorenz Moser in 1985 in Hamburg, Germany, is a German rapper and one of the founding members of the collective 187 Strassenbande, which he co-founded in the mid-2000s. Starting out inspired by American West Coast rap, he shifted from graffiti to music and became one of the central figures shaping Hamburg's street-rap scene alongside artists like Gzuz. His gruff, laid-back delivery and street-oriented lyrics helped define the aesthetic of German gangsta and trap-influenced rap in the 2010s.

Bonez MC gained wider mainstream recognition through his duo work with singer RAF Camora, with collaborative albums and hit singles like "Palmen aus Plastik" and "500 PS" that topped German charts and blended rap with pop and dancehall-influenced production, broadening his audience far beyond hip-hop purists.

As a key member and figurehead of 187 Strassenbande, Bonez MC has been central to building the label into one of the most commercially successful and influential rap collectives in the German-speaking world, with a large catalog of solo work, group releases, and guest features.
