Bone Thugs-N-Harmony

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony is an American hip-hop group formed in 1991 in Cleveland, Ohio, consisting of Krayzie Bone, Layzie Bone, Bizzy Bone, Wish Bone, and Flesh-n-Bone. The group pioneered a distinctive style built on fast, melodic rapping and tight vocal harmonies, blending gangsta rap subject matter with a singsong, almost choir-like delivery that had never been heard in hip-hop before their arrival. Discovered and signed by Eazy-E to Ruthless Records, they released their breakthrough EP Creepin on Ah Come Up in 1994.

Their 1995 album E. 1999 Eternal, featuring the hit "Tha Crossroads" — written in tribute to Eazy-E after his death — became a landmark release, earning the group a Grammy Award and cementing their reputation as innovators whose rapid-fire, harmonized flow influenced generations of later rappers, from Southern trap artists to melodic hip-hop and R&B hybrids.

Bone Thugs-n-Harmony continued to release influential albums through the late 1990s and 2000s, including The Art of War and BTNHResurrection, while also notching collaborations with artists like Tupac Shakur and Notorious B.I.G. Despite lineup changes and periods of internal conflict over the years, the group remains widely regarded as one of the most technically innovative and influential acts in hip-hop history.
