About the artist
BNYX® is an American record producer from Philadelphia, born Benjamin Saint Fort. He built his name in hip-hop and R&B production circles through his close working relationship with Yeat, shaping much of the atmospheric, bass-heavy sound that defined Yeat's rise, and has since gone on to produce for major artists including Drake, Lil Uzi Vert, and Travis Scott. His stage name comes from his nickname «Benny» combined with an «X» he says represents the extreme quality he aims for in his music.
BNYX® is part of Working on Dying, the Philadelphia-based production collective and label led by Ojivolt that has become one of the most influential production houses in contemporary hip-hop and trap, known for its dense, melodic, and heavily layered instrumentals. Within that camp he stands out for a style that blends distorted 808s, ambient textures, and unconventional song structures, often pushing tracks toward a hazier, more experimental register than typical trap production.
Beyond his production work, BNYX® occasionally steps out as a performer in his own right, releasing tracks under his own name. His catalogue as producer and artist spans collaborations across rap, R&B, and electronic-leaning pop, and his fingerprints are widely credited with helping define the sound of a generation of internet-era rap acts.
