About the artist
BLOODIE, born Boschi Pope Jr. on July 2, 2005, is a drill rapper from Harlem, New York, known for his rapid-fire delivery over hard, sample-driven drill instrumentals. He began recording under the name Backend Bosh in 2020, but committed fully to music after the 2022 deaths of close friends and fellow drill artists Notti Osama and Edot Babyy.
His 2023 breakout run included «BESTIE», «WICKED», «ASSASSIN», and «GET BACK», tracks that quickly racked up hundreds of thousands of views and established him as a rising voice in New York drill. «41 STOMP», a diss track aimed at the Brooklyn drill collective 41, released alongside his feature on JStar Balla's «All Stars» in August 2023, pushed him further into the spotlight.
He followed this with his debut album, FROM THE TRAP TO THE RAP, released in September 2023, and continued releasing singles including «HANDS DOWN» and «BLOODIE FLOW». BLOODIE's sound sits within the sample-drill lineage popularized by Harlem and Brooklyn artists, marked by tight, technical verses over dark, looping beats.
