Beton.Hofi

Beton.Hofi, born Ádám Schwarcz on 23 July 1991 in Budapest, is a two-time Fonogram Award-winning Hungarian rapper, songwriter, and composer who grew up in the Józsefváros district. He first made a name for himself in the slam poetry scene, winning the rapID talent competition before channeling that wordplay-driven, rhythmic style into rap.

His 2021 mixtape comic sins was a breakout success, going four-times platinum, and his 2022 follow-up album PLAYBÁNIA cemented his place at the forefront of Hungary's new-wave hip-hop scene, earning six-times platinum certification and a Fonogram Award. The record also brought him international recognition. His third album, 0, released in 2024, continues to explore weighty social and personal themes, paired with his distinctive attention to visual presentation and concept-driven releases.

Beton.Hofi's lyrics are known for carrying strong, often socially reflective messages, delivered with the dense internal rhyme schemes typical of his slam poetry roots. Tracks like «BAGIRA», «PONT JÓ», and «SOFIA COPPOLA» showcase his blend of sharp wordplay, melodic hooks, and pop-leaning production.
