Beogradski Sindikat

Beogradski Sindikat, meaning Belgrade Syndicate, is a Serbian hip-hop collective formed in Belgrade on March 21, 1999, through the merger of two underground crews, Red Zmaja and TUMZ, along with solo artists MC Flex and Šef Sale. Prota and DJ IRon joined the lineup in the following years, expanding the group into one of the largest and most influential hip-hop collectives in the Balkans.

The group's sound blends aggressive, politically charged lyricism with beats rooted in classic boom-bap and later more contemporary production, tackling themes of Serbian society, history, and identity. Their debut album is widely credited with launching the second wave of Serbian hip hop and cementing their reputation as one of the genre's defining acts in the region.

Beogradski Sindikat runs its own label, Prohibicija, giving the collective full creative control over its output. After a period of inactivity, the group returned in 2015 with the single «BS Armija» and has since favored releasing standalone singles such as «Svedok (Saradnik)» and «Dogodine u Prizrenu» rather than full-length albums, keeping their presence active in the Serbian rap scene.
