Bankroll Freddie

Bankroll Freddie is an American rapper born Freddie Demarus Gladney III on October 15, 1994, in Helena, Arkansas. After his cousin was killed in 2009, his mother moved the family to Conway, Arkansas, where he later graduated high school. He began building momentum as a rapper with a viral freestyle in 2017 before signing to Quality Control Music, the Atlanta label behind Migos and Lil Baby, distributed through Motown Records.

His breakout project, the 2021 album Big Bank, cemented his reputation as a distinctive voice in Southern trap, pairing melodic hooks with street-rooted storytelling. The record featured an impressive run of collaborators including Megan Thee Stallion, Gucci Mane, 2 Chainz, EST Gee and PnB Rock, as well as Young Dolph, his cousin by blood, whose mentorship and shared Arkansas-to-Memphis pipeline shaped his sound. Tracks such as «Drip Like Dis», «Pop It» and «Lil Mama» showcase his knack for catchy, bass-heavy hits built for both the club and the street.

Beyond the music, his career has intersected with legal trouble: a 2022 traffic stop in Arkansas led to a federal indictment later that year tied to an alleged large-scale drug trafficking conspiracy. Despite that backdrop, Bankroll Freddie remains a recognizable name within the Quality Control roster and the broader Southern trap and R&B-inflected rap scene.
