BAD HOP

BAD HOP is a Japanese hip-hop collective from Kawasaki, an industrial port city between Tokyo and Yokohama often referenced in the group's lyrics and imagery. Formed by childhood friends who grew up together in the same neighborhood, the crew is fronted by YZERR and T-Pablow, with additional members including Tiji Jojo, Bark, Vingo, G-k.i.d, Benjazzy, and Yellow Pato. Their sound blends trap-influenced beats with hard-hitting flows, drawing on both Japanese street culture and American rap aesthetics.

The group released its debut album «Mobb Life» in 2017, which helped establish them as one of the most talked-about acts in Japan's modern rap scene. Tracks like «Kawasaki Drift», «Day N Night», and «Champion Road» showcase the crew's collective energy, with members trading verses over cinematic, bass-heavy production.

Beyond group releases, several BAD HOP members, particularly YZERR and T-Pablow, have pursued notable solo careers, further expanding the collective's footprint in Japanese hip-hop. Songs such as «High Land», «guidance», and «Ocean View» reflect a more introspective side of the group, balancing braggadocio with narratives about their upbringing in Kawasaki.
