Baby Smoove

Baby Smoove, born Jaelin Parker on December 3, 1996, is an American rapper from Detroit, Michigan. He began making music as a child and started posting songs online in 2012 under the name Bandcrew Smoove, releasing his first track, «Supersonic», through his YouTube channel. In 2016 he rebranded as Baby Smoove and began releasing music on streaming platforms, starting with the project Riding With the Goat in 2017.

He found wider recognition in 2019 with his breakout single «Akorn», which introduced his laid-back, melodic take on Detroit's regional rap sound to a broader audience. His style is marked by smooth, understated flows delivered over bouncy, hi-hat-driven production typical of the city's scene, setting him apart from the more aggressive vocal styles of many of his Detroit peers.

Since then, Baby Smoove has built a steady catalogue with tracks like «Bape», «Lethal Weapon», «Overtime», «Undercover» and «Losing My Mind», maintaining a loyal following through consistent releases and a distinctive, easygoing delivery that has become one of his signatures within the contemporary Detroit rap movement.
