Baby Gang

Baby Gang, born Zaccaria Mouhib on June 26, 2001, in Lecco, is an Italian rapper of Moroccan descent and one of the most prominent figures of the Italian drill scene. His adolescence was marked by time spent in juvenile detention centers, an experience that became the raw material for his music: rather than glossing over his past, he built his artistic identity around it, chronicling incarceration, street life, and marginalization with unfiltered honesty.

He debuted in 2018 with the single «Street», and after a further stint in juvenile detention, returned in 2019 with «Educazione» and «Cella 1», tracks that directly recount his prison experience. Collaborations followed in 2020 with acts central to the Italian drill and trap scenes, including «Baby Gang» with 167 Gang, «Bimbi Soldato» with Sacky, and «SACOCHE» with Simba La Rue. In 2021 he released his first EP, EP 1, followed by his debut album Delinquente, both distributed under license to Warner Music.

His sound blends dark, minimal drill beats with melodic hooks and blunt, confessional lyrics, placing him alongside artists who brought the gritty realism of European drill into the Italian mainstream. Tracks such as «Casablanca» and «Marocchino» also reflect his North African roots and dual cultural identity, a recurring theme across his catalogue.
