Baby Bash

Baby Bash, born Ronald Ray Bryant on October 18, 1975, is a Mexican-American rapper and singer from Vallejo, California. He first entered the rap scene in the mid-1990s as Baby Beesh, part of the duo Potna Deuce, before launching a solo career with «Savage Dreams» (2001) and «On Tha Cool» (2002).

His major-label breakthrough came with «Tha Smokin' Nephew» (2003) on Universal Records, anchored by the gold-certified, Top 10 pop hit «Suga Suga» featuring Frankie J. He built on that momentum with «Super Saucy» (2005), which featured the Akon collaboration «Baby, I'm Back», and «Cyclone» (2007), whose T-Pain-assisted title track went double platinum and became one of his signature crossover hits.

Baby Bash's sound blends West Coast and Southern rap influences with radio-friendly pop and R&B hooks, often built around melodic guest features. After his major-label run, he continued releasing music independently through his own Bashtown Music imprint, including collaborative projects with Houston rapper Paul Wall as The Legalizers and with singer Frankie J. on the album «Sangria», cementing his reputation as a reliable hitmaker of catchy, collaboration-driven rap-pop.
