Atlantida Project

Atlantida Project was a Russian musical duo formed in 2007 in Saint Petersburg by vocalist and lyricist Alexandra Sokolova and multi-instrumentalist Sergey Zyazin. The project became known for Sokolova's distinctive, ethereal vocal delivery layered over atmospheric electronic and rock-tinged production, carving out a niche sound within Russian alternative music.

The duo gained wider recognition through collaborations with rapper Noize MC, whose fanbase brought Atlantida Project's music to a broader audience and helped define their crossover appeal between rap, rock and electronic textures. Their catalog includes the album «Новое измерение» (2010), released while the group was actively performing and developing its sound.

Alexandra Sokolova died of cancer in September 2015 at the age of 34, effectively ending the group's active existence. A posthumous EP titled «Бездна» appeared that same year, followed by a full posthumous album of the same name in 2016, compiling and completing material she had been working on. Atlantida Project remains remembered as a distinctive voice in Russian alternative music, cut short by an early loss.
