araabMUZIK, born Abraham Orellana, is an American hip hop producer from Providence, Rhode Island, of Dominican and Guatemalan descent. He became widely known in the early 2010s for viral videos showing him building beats live on an Akai MPC drum machine, layering rapid, intricate drum patterns with chopped samples in real time. This live-performance style set him apart from studio-bound producers and made him a favorite at electronic and hip hop festivals alike.

His breakout instrumental mixtape Arkestra (2011) showcased a sound that fused trap-influenced drums with the pulse of Jersey club, house, and trance, blurring the line between hip hop production and dance music. Tracks like «Red Barz» and «Streetz Tonight» became widely sampled and referenced touchstones in the trap scene.
