ANNA

ANNA, born Anna Pepe on August 15, 2003, in La Spezia, Italy, is an Italian rapper who grew up around music — her mother is a sculptor and her father a former footballer and DJ with a taste for hip hop. She got close to rap around age 10, recording covers of Nicki Minaj, and began posting her own freestyles on Instagram at 15.

She first gained attention collaborating with fellow La Spezia rapper Anis on «24/7» and «Holidays». Going solo, she released her debut single «Baby» in March 2019, but it was «Bando», released later that year, that made her a breakout star — turning her into the youngest artist ever to reach number one on Italy's FIMI singles chart and earning her a deal with Universal.

Her sound blends rap with pop hooks and a playful, brash attitude, heard across tracks like «TT LE GIRLZ», «I LOVE IT», «ABC», «30°C», «BBE» and «BIKINI». In 2022 she released her debut EP, Lista 47, followed two years later by her first full album, VERA BADDIE, which cemented her as one of Italy's leading young rap voices.
