About the artist
Andy Panda is the stage name adopted from 2018 to 2022 by the Russian rapper previously known as Эндшпиль (Endshpil), part of the duo alongside Miyagi. The renaming, done to be more accessible to international audiences and easier to pronounce for non-Russian speakers, coincided with the duo's biggest commercial success and mainstream breakthrough across Russia and other Russian-speaking countries.
As one half of Miyagi & Andy Panda, he helped define a distinct strand of Russian hip-hop that blended trap and rap with playful, melodic hooks and a strong pop sensibility, producing some of the most streamed Russian-language tracks of the era. Songs like «Kalabaria», together with releases such as «Billboard», «Jumanji» and «King Kong», showcase the duo's ability to move between hard-hitting rap and radio-friendly, hook-driven material.
His music is marked by rhythmic, punchy delivery paired with hooky, often anthemic choruses, and the duo's videos and live shows became a notable part of Russian pop-culture in the late 2010s and early 2020s. The Andy Panda name was later retired as the artist returned to using Эндшпиль, but the period under this alias produced much of the material that made him widely known.
