Aminé, born Adam Aminé Daniel, is an American rapper, singer and producer from Portland, Oregon. He built a following through independent mixtapes before breaking through in 2016 with «Caroline», a playful, melodic single that climbed into the Billboard Hot 100 top 20 and introduced his witty, colorful approach to hip-hop. His performance of the song on The Tonight Show, which included a pointed verse about Donald Trump, signaled early on that his music would mix humor with social commentary.

Aminé's debut album, Good for You, released in 2017, was later certified Gold and established him as one of hip-hop's brighter, more idiosyncratic voices, blending bouncy production with sharp wordplay.
