Ali471 is a German rapper of Turkish descent from Duisburg, part of the wave of German-Turkish artists who blend German and Turkish lyrics in the same song. Raised as the youngest of four siblings in a family originally from the Karaman province of Turkey, he built his early following through Instagram and short viral clips before releasing music officially. His breakthrough single «Hadi Gel Gezelim» in 2019 mixed German verses with Turkish hooks and became a massive hit in Turkey, racking up tens of millions of YouTube views and even charting on Germany's Spotify weekly charts.

His rise caught the attention of Capital Bra, one of Germany's biggest rap stars, who signed Ali471 as the first artist to his label Bra Musik in September 2019. The partnership produced a run of songs previewed through social media before Ali471 released «Wir träumen groß» in January 2020, the same day Capital Bra announced their split, wishing him well publicly.
