Afro Bros

Afro Bros are a Dutch DJ and production duo based in Arnhem, working at the crossroads of pop, urban and electronic dance music. They are best known outside the Netherlands for co-producing «X», the international hit by Nicky Jam and J Balvin, which brought their name to a global audience of Latin and dance listeners. Within the Netherlands they built their reputation earlier through work with Major Lazer, fellow producer Boaz van de Beatz, and rapper/producer Ronnie Flex.

Their collaboration with Ronnie Flex and Frenna on «Energie» became one of the defining tracks of the modern Dutch hiphop scene, cementing Afro Bros as go-to producers for artists blending Surinamese, Caribbean and Afrobeat rhythms with Dutch urban music. Under their own name they scored a domestic hit with «18 Plus» and released the album «Game Of Bros», featuring mostly lesser-known Dutch and Surinamese guest artists.

Afro Bros regularly perform at major Dutch festivals, including Kingsday celebrations, and their sound favors upbeat, dance-ready productions with tropical and Afro-Caribbean percussion. Their catalogue spans full-length productions for other artists as well as their own singles like «Baila Dom», «Breek Je Bakka» and «Dikke Billen Holle Rug».
