Adam Calhoun

Adam Calhoun, born Adam Bradley Calhoun, is an American musician, songwriter and internet personality from New Lenox, Illinois, a small town near Chicago. He first built an audience online as an influencer within right-wing political circles before establishing himself as a major figure in the country rap scene.

His biggest song to date, «Die Tonight», was made with country rap pioneer Ryan Upchurch, a collaboration that reflects the tightly knit, collaborative nature of the genre. Across a prolific catalog of thirteen albums, Calhoun has released six full collaborative projects, working repeatedly with Chris Hosier (billed as Calhoun), with Struggle Jennings, and with Tom Macdonald, alongside a 2019 EP, «Crazy White Boy», with Demun Jones of the band Rehab. His sound blends hip-hop delivery with country and rock instrumentation and imagery, anchored by songs like «Catch Hell», «WW2.0», «Huck Fosier» and «Country».

Notably, while the majority of his catalog sits within hip-hop, his thirteenth album marked a shift into straight country music, featuring singer-songwriter Bryan Martin. In late 2024, Calhoun announced plans to record in Nashville alongside Demun Jones and rapper John Brodnax on a project intended to unite artists across the country rap genre, underscoring his ongoing role as a connector within the scene.
