ADAAM

ADAAM, born Adam Pérez Jakobsson and formerly performing as Adam Märsta, is a Swedish rapper from Märsta, a suburb north of Stockholm. He built his early following through freestyle videos on YouTube that racked up substantial views before he had released any official material, a route that mirrors many other Swedish suburban rap artists of his generation.

His breakthrough came at the end of 2018 with the single «Wave», which later appeared on his debut album «Grindar». The record cemented his place within the Swedish förortsrap (suburban rap) scene, a movement defined by its blend of trap production, street narratives, and Stockholm slang. Songs such as «TOPP», «EXTRA» and «SÖDERMALM» continued to build on that sound, pairing melodic hooks with hard-edged trap beats.

ADAAM has also worked closely with other artists from the same scene, appearing on Einár's «Första Klass» and Dilly D's «Tell'us», collaborations that reflect the tightly connected network of Stockholm suburban rappers. Tracks like «Konst från Betong» and «Trap$tar» further show his focus on themes of struggle and ambition tied to his upbringing, a hallmark of the genre he represents.
