Abluka Alarm

Abluka Alarm is a Turkish rap duo formed in Samsun in 2000 by Mehmet Çalışkan (known as Laedri) and Savaş Tancuay (known as Savaş). Active first at a local and regional level, the group built a following through years of performing and releasing material before joining Kuvvetmira, one of the most influential collectives in Turkish rap history, in the early 2000s. Their sound reflects the introspective, wordplay-driven style associated with that scene, combining melancholic themes with dense Turkish-language lyricism.

The duo became closely tied to Sagopa Kajmer, a central figure in Kuvvetmira, and appeared on projects connected to his output, including material from the Disstortion era. This alliance shaped much of Abluka Alarm's visibility during the 2000s and early 2010s, as their music circulated alongside the broader Kuvvetmira catalog and its offshoots. Tracks such as «Kısır Döngü», «Neyse Ne» and «Patika» reflect the group's characteristic blend of dark, reflective songwriting and technically dense verses.

The partnership with Sagopa Kajmer eventually broke down around 2012, leading to a public falling-out and legal disputes between the parties. Despite this rupture, Abluka Alarm has continued releasing music independently, maintaining a loyal audience within Turkish rap built on their consistent lyrical identity and their historical role within the Kuvvetmira lineage.
