Aaron Rose

Aaron Rose, previously performing as A La $ole, is a rapper from Brooklyn, New York, and a member of the Pro Era collective founded around Joey Bada$$. Like most of the crew, he grew up in the borough's East Flatbush area and came up through the group's mixtape-driven, boom-bap-rooted scene of the early 2010s. He appeared on several tracks from Pro Era's compilation project P.E.E.P: The aPROcalypse, delivering a witty, technically dense flow over dusty, sample-based production that ties him closely to the collective's throwback New York aesthetic.

In December 2016, Rose released his debut solo project, Elixir, produced in collaboration with the New York producer J57. The album marked a step out from under the Pro Era banner while still carrying the lyrical style he had built within the group — dense wordplay, introspective storytelling, and a clear reverence for boom-bap tradition. Songs collected on Lyricser such as «I Still Love H.E.R», «Been Swank», «Torture» and «The Art of Sole» reflect this catalog, spanning both his Pro Era-era features and solo output.

Rose remains a lesser-known but respected figure within the Pro Era orbit, valued more for lyrical craft than mainstream visibility. His work sits within the broader 2010s Brooklyn rap revival that Pro Era helped popularize, alongside artists like Kirk Knight and Nyck Caution.
