A$AP Twelvyy

A$AP Twelvyy, born Jamal Phillips in 1990, is an American rapper from the Bronx, New York, and a member of the A$AP Mob collective, from which he took his stage name. He first drew wider attention in 2011 when he appeared on «Trilla» alongside fellow Mob members A$AP Rocky and A$AP Nast, and continued building his profile through Mob-affiliated releases over the following years.

In 2014 he released «Xscape», intended as the second single from the A$AP Mob's shelved debut album L.O.R.D., further cementing his place within the crew's rotating cast of voices. His full-length solo debut, 12, arrived in August 2017, showcasing his gritty, Bronx-rooted street narratives and blunt, hard-edged delivery — a style that sets him apart from some of the more melodic or fashion-forward corners of the A$AP Mob sound. Tracks like «Diamonds», «Hop Out», «Strapped» and «A Glorious Death» reflect this unpolished, tough-talking approach.

Throughout his career, Twelvyy has remained closely tied to the A$AP Mob's collaborative ecosystem, frequently appearing alongside Rocky, Ferg, Nast and other members, while carving out a reputation as one of the collective's more straightforwardly hardcore lyricists.
