STARSET

Starset is an American rock band built around an elaborate science-fiction concept: the music serves as the public-facing narrative of the fictional Starset Society, a secretive organization exploring hidden scientific truths. This narrative framing, delivered through cinematic visuals and multimedia storytelling, sets the band apart within modern alternative and electronic-rock music.

Founded and fronted by Dustin Bates, Starset debuted with the album Transmissions in 2014, led by the single «My Demons», which introduced their signature blend of soaring vocals, orchestral synths, and heavy guitars. Their sound continued to evolve on Vessels in 2017, home to «Monster», one of their most streamed and recognizable songs, and on Divisions in 2019, which featured «MANIFEST».

The band's lineup includes Dustin Bates on vocals and guitar, Ron DeChant on bass and keyboards, Brock Richards on lead guitar, and Adam Gilbert on drums.
