Jabberwocky

Jabberwocky, also stylized JBBRWCK, is a French electropop trio from Poitiers, formed in 2013 by Camille Camara, Simon Pasquer and Emmanuel Bretou, who were studying medicine at the time. The group gained early attention with the single «Photomaton», featuring vocalist Elodie Wildstars, whose ethereal voice became a defining element of the band's sound. Their music blends dark, atmospheric electronic textures with pop songwriting and a strong cinematic, nocturnal aesthetic.

After touring behind their debut single, the trio released the EP «Pola» in November 2014, followed by their first full album, «Lunar Lane», in October 2015, which cemented their reputation for brooding, moody synth-pop with tracks that balance melancholy and danceable energy. Songs such as «Night Time», «Take Me Home» and «Alastor» reflect this signature mix of shadowy production and hook-driven melodies.

In March 2017 the band returned with the «Make» EP, featuring guest vocalists including Elisa Jo, Allyson Ezell, Sly Johnson and Tessa B, further diversifying their sound with soulful and jazz-inflected collaborations while keeping their core electropop identity intact. Jabberwocky remains a distinctive voice in the French electronic scene, known for pairing haunting vocal performances with meticulously crafted, night-themed production.
