Hey! Say! JUMP

Hey! Say! JUMP are a Japanese idol group formed in 2007 under Johnny & Associates (now Storm Labels), debuting with the chart-topping single «Ultra Music Power». Assembled from trainees spanning a wide age range at debut, the group takes its name from the years its members were born (Hey = Heisei 1988-89, Say = Showa, JUMP is a nod to their acrobatic performances) and from the outset built a reputation for high-energy choreography and gymnastic stage presence.

The current lineup — Ryosuke Yamada, Yuri Chinen, Yuto Nakajima, Daiki Arioka, Yuya Takaki, Kei Inoo, Hikaru Yaotome and Kota Yabu — has weathered lineup changes, including the departure of Ryutaro Morimoto and Keito Okamoto, while continuing to release music as a full unit and through its two constituent sub-groups, Hey! Say! 7 and Hey! Say! BEST. Their catalog spans polished dance-pop, uptempo anthems like «MATSURI☆FEVER» and «UMP», and more emotionally driven singles such as «DEAR MY LOVER» and «encore».

With millions of physical sales in Japan, Hey! Say! JUMP rank among the top-selling boy bands to emerge from the Johnny & Associates system, known for arena tours, tightly synchronized choreography, and a broad discography that moves between youthful pop energy and more mature balladry as the members have grown up in the public eye.
