Aida Vedisheva is a Soviet-era singer and actress who became one of the most recognizable voices of Soviet pop and film music in the 1960s and 1970s. She rose to fame performing songs written for popular animated and feature films, blending a warm, theatrical vocal style with the melodic, orchestrated pop sound typical of the Soviet estrada tradition of the period.

Her best-known recordings came from beloved Soviet animated films, including songs about bears and a forest deer, as well as the widely recognized «Чунга-чанга», all of which became part of the cultural fabric of generations raised on Soviet cinema and television.
