Adam Melchor

Adam Melchor is an American singer-songwriter known for warm, conversational folk-pop songwriting that blends acoustic guitar textures with elements of country and soft rock. He trained in opera in college before turning to songwriting, recording early demos in his bedroom and later in his car, and building his craft playing dive bars and restaurants across New Jersey and New York. That grounded, DIY beginning still shows in his music, which favors plainspoken storytelling and intimate arrangements over polish.

After time in a touring band based in Brooklyn that eventually relocated to Nashville, Melchor stayed behind and kept writing, eventually landing his first co-write and cut through connections made in Los Angeles. He moved to LA to pursue songwriting and collaboration more seriously, a move shaped in part by personal loss along the way, and has since built a catalog marked by tracks like «Real Estate», «The Archer», «Last Time», and «Joyride», alongside more recent songs such as «I CHOOSE YOU», «JEWEL», and «Moon in the Morning».

His sound sits at the crossroads of pop, country, and rock, reflecting both his classical training and his years absorbing Americana and singer-songwriter traditions on small stages. Melchor has become known within the songwriting community as a collaborator as much as a solo artist, with his EP «Plan On You» representing a key moment in his output, and his music continuing to draw on the everyday, diaristic honesty that defined his earliest bedroom and car recordings.
