Tainy, born Marcos Efraín Masís, is a Puerto Rican record producer widely regarded as one of the architects of the modern reggaetón and Latin trap sound. He began producing as a teenager, gaining recognition through the Mas Flow series alongside Luny Tunes before he was even out of his teens, and has since become one of the most in-demand hitmakers in Latin music.

Over the following two decades Tainy shaped the sonic identity of the genre through long-running collaborations with Bad Bunny, J Balvin, Ozuna and Anuel AA, contributing to some of the biggest Latin releases of the streaming era. His production style blends heavy trap-influenced percussion, futuristic synth textures and reggaetón rhythm patterns, giving his tracks a distinctly cinematic, forward-looking feel that helped push the genre beyond its traditional boundaries.
