Sir Chloe

Sir Chloe is an American indie rock band that began as the solo project of Dana Foote while she was a student at Bennington College in Vermont, recording her earliest singles in the school's music building around 2017. The project soon grew into a full band, eventually relocating to Los Angeles, and has since built a following on the strength of moody, guitar-driven songs that blend indie rock with sharp pop hooks.

The band's sound pairs Foote's distinctive, breathy vocal delivery with fuzzed-out guitars and driving rhythms, giving songs like «Michelle», «Animal», and «Too Close» an atmosphere that sits somewhere between shoegaze-tinged indie and alternative pop. Tracks such as «Sedona» and «Party Favors» further show the group's range, moving between darker, brooding material and brighter, more melodic moments.

While still a relatively young act, Sir Chloe has carved out a distinct identity within the current wave of indie rock bands blending lo-fi textures with pop songwriting sensibility, and their DIY origins as a college recording project remain part of their story even as the lineup and sound have matured.
