Sobre el artista
Audrey Hobert is an American singer-songwriter from Los Angeles who first gained recognition behind the scenes, co-writing several songs on her best friend Gracie Abrams's album «The Secret of Us» before stepping into the spotlight as a solo artist. A 2021 BFA graduate of New York University, she later signed a publishing deal with Universal Music Group, which helped pave the way for her own recording career.
Her debut single «Sue me», released in May 2025, introduced a conversational, wry songwriting style paired with pop and electronic-leaning production, setting the tone for her debut album «Who’s the Clown?», released in August 2025 after additional singles such as «Phoebe» and «Bowling alley». Her lyrics often lean into candid, tongue-in-cheek storytelling about relationships and personal identity, giving her music a distinct, diaristic voice within contemporary pop.
Hobert's close creative partnership with Gracie Abrams remains a defining thread in her career, bridging her work as a co-writer with her emergence as an artist in her own right, and positioning her as part of a new wave of pop songwriters blending confessional lyricism with polished, electronic-tinged arrangements.
