Killa Fonic

Killa Fonic, born Ionuț Alex Hodoroagă on 14 February 1989 in Ploiești, is a Romanian rapper, singer, and songwriter who has been one of the more visible figures in Romanian hip-hop since the early 2010s. He first drew attention as a member of Șatra B.E.N.Z., the group led by producer Lu-K Beats, joining in 2012 and appearing on their albums «O.$.O.D.» (2015) and «O.$.O.D. II» (2017), both of which found strong online success. In 2019 he left the group before the release of «O.$.O.D. IV» to pursue a solo deal with Global Records.

As a solo artist he built a steady catalogue starting with the mixtape «Lord de cartier» in 2013 and «Ramses 1989» in 2016, before releasing his debut solo album «Lamă Crimă» on 27 July 2017, which he supported with the 2018 «Sezonul Lamă Crimă» tour. He followed with the collaboration-free EP «Emotiv Munteana» in December 2018 and a second solo album, «Trendsetter», in February 2019 — his last project made with producer Lu-K Beats and the Seek Music team.

Musically, Killa Fonic moves comfortably across rap, pop, rock, and R&B influences, giving his catalogue a broad, radio-friendly range that spans hard-edged trap tracks and softer, melodic love songs. Well-known songs such as «Stai», «Ard», and «Niciun glonț nu doare cât dragostea» showcase this pop-leaning, emotionally direct songwriting style, while his work with Șatra B.E.N.Z. remains a key part of his legacy in Romanian hip-hop.
